To preserve and nurture our unique cultural environment in the long term with respect for its history, while creating a vibrant and sustainable meeting place for visitors, local communities and future generations. By combining cultural heritage, natural experiences and local collaboration, we want to contribute to responsible tourism development.
About us
We are two sisters who have been running Falkängen together since November 2022. Before we became the owners, it was our father, Inge, who ran Falkängen for 20 years through a lease agreement with Götene Municipality.
Growing up in Gössäter and Västerplana has given us a strong attachment to Kinnekulle – a place that has always been dear to our hearts. Even during the years when we lived abroad, the longing to return to our homeland and its unique nature and cultural heritage remained with us.
When the opportunity came to be the new owners of Falkängen, we didn't hesitate. Being able to manage and develop this special place, with its history, charm and proximity to Kinnekulle's nature, feels both meaningful and inspiring.
